Why I chose modelling?

Why I chose modelling?

Fashion and make-up is an entirely new world, that most don’t get the chance to experience. Its one thing going into a shop and finding an outfit but to actually model for a brand and be apart of it all is totally different. While growing up i used to grab magazines any time I could and cut out the outfits I loved and the girls I thought were gorgeous. I remember putting on my own fashion shows for my parents and always trying to copy make up looks from YouTube. Being that young i didn’t realise that being a model was a real thing, i would watch ‘Devil Wears Prada’ on a loop and completely fall in love with the idea of being in a fashion spotlight, covered in bright make up and clothes, to be idled like they all were.

Further on in life i grew up, went to school and was fixed on making it through with the best grades- like every parent wants for their kids. For me there was something missing, and i knew exactly what it was but had no courage to even debate doing it, even talking about it to others was hard because of the stereotype of being “vein”.  At that difficult age of 15 life is a competition, everything you do is getting judged by those around you and I found it hard to be myself, I never wore the clothes I wanted or done my hair differently. But starting my A levels I realised that I would rather wear what I wanted and peruse the career I’ve always wanted to do, its about fashion, make-up, photos, glam, glitter, boldness, paparazzi and modelling!

So starting out my modelling career has taken its time, but I’m absolutely ready to start  !
