My life
I was born in Baluchistan, Iran, where male domination and patriarchy overpowered our society. As a woman, I always tried to be the best I could be to overcome this forced law of male dominance. As a result of my efforts, I built my career and became an expert in anthropology. To give back to my homeplace, I have tried hard to give young children opportunities for education in a place where it is difficult to have these privileges. I spent a lot of time with them and witnessed their potential for great intelligence, but they needed more resources to reach this potential. Hence, an achievement that I am very proud of is that I helped five of those children have excellent access to the education they needed for growth; they have now achieved high degrees and success in life. Moving to England has allowed me to reinvent myself and challenge myself in new roles, which has led to my inspiration to be a model and show my resilience once again in accomplishing the things that often seem impossible, like my fight for power as a woman and my efforts to provide opportunities for the children of my town. I take pride in my role in our world, where I can impact and help others through my determination, as I can understand the emotions of fighting through hardship through the many challenges I have faced in life. I have and will always believe that I can do everything I set my mind to, and I would love to move others to think the same and help them through this career, where the opportunities for influence and impact are endless.
