My achievements in the Fashion industry so far

In regards to my achievements in the fashion industry, I believe that I have accomplished a lot in the limited time that I have been in this profession.

My first ever runway show was during February’s London fashion week 2020 where I walked for the Filipino designer, Bladimir Sigua. Despite the fact that many events were cancelled due to the global pandemic, I still pursued modelling.

In July, I trained with the CEO/ Founder of House of Ikons and completed the six modules of model training.

Since then I have attended many training sessions where we practised our high fashion and pageant walks which may seem similar initially, however in reality, training teaches you that there is an array of differences. For instance, the types of poses and facial expressions.

As well as this, in August, I had my first ever professional photo shoot in a studio and this was also around the time when I started to build up my image on social media. Subsequently, I’ve had multiple photo-shoots for different companies.

In September, I took part in London fashion week once again and walked for two designers; Sita Couture and Jojo Braut Abenmode. I can affirm that I gained a lot of experience from walking for these designers. Jojo Braut made very extravagant wedding dresses, which were stunning but were deemed a very difficult challenge to walk in due to the length and multiple layers of the outfits. Also, with Sita Couture, they took a different approach in presenting their items of clothing, they requested all the models to walk bare feet.

Moreover, in December, I was honoured to be invited to and attend a Gatsby event along with the other models who are representing the B&K Collection, Additionally, I took part in the charity pageant for the Royalties’ 3rd Grand Christmas ball.

In February, I walked for 4 designers for London Fashion Week; Athea Couture, Au Clair de Luna, B&K, and TáWA.

In 2022, I have various upcoming shows too! With London Fashion week SS22 and AW22 along with charity events such as Chabs UK which uses its profits to donate to Cancel Cancer Africa.
