Damilola Ngozi Akinyosade is an Actor, a Fashion model, a Film maker, a Global Youth leader in the Loveworld Ministry and an aspiring Lawyer and Author. She creates work that is intuitive, imaginative and unexpected as an Actor, Model and Writer.

Raised in Lagos, Nigeria, Damilola started her theatre experience by playing lead roles and participating in various ensembles in diferent children's stage productions for the Loveworld Ministry Children's Church choir. Damilola helped in stage lighting and design and worked with music and script writers to help develop the storylines as a child. As a young girl, Damilola took part in various stage productions at school and worked with professional theatre actors at the National Art and Museum Theatre to entertain and showcase the Nigerian Culture. Since then, Damilola has peformed on stage as well as on screen in Nigeria and the UK.

Damilola's passion for acting grew as the idea of what goes on behind the camera developed. Damilola went on to study and later obtained a BA (Hons) Degree in Film and TV Production at the University of Hertfordshire at 19 where she graduated with a Second Class Upper. Damilola had learnt how to edit and design sounds using protools and pictures through Avid Media Composer using different techniques, styles and programs. Damilola has worked in live studios and also behind the scenes of films all throughout her time at university. Damilola proceeded to expand her education and sharpen her acting skills by studying an MA in Acting at the University of East London Performing Arts where she graduated and obtained a Distinction at age 20. Damilola was trained on the Stanislavsi System of Acting and performed various stage productions inside and outside university. One notable achievement was presenting a twilight performance for the Brickfield Newham for Newham heritage month in collaboration with the V&A Museum.

It was during her time at UH that her passion for fashion developed. As a young child, Damilola would sow fabric pieces together to make clothing through her grandma's sowing machine but stopped as other interests grew more exciting. At 18, Damilola applied to have a model assessment and got through her first one. Damilola was commended for her versatility allowing her to model in different modelling sectors and was praised for her confidence in front of the camera. Damilola sees modelling as acting as the mood and styles portray various emotions which allows for an expression through the clothing that she wears. Since then, she has modelled for top brands including H&M, Zara and Calvin Klein, amongst others.

Outside of theatre and modelling, Damilola found an interest in Law at the age of 13 and got enrolled for an IFP at the Westerfield Sixth Form College at age 16 where she was the first to obtain a triple honours subject in Drama, Music and Law and hopes to study and obtain another BA degree in Law. As a young child, Damilola loved to tell stories through drawing and writing fictions in the hopes of changing the lives of young people and other individuals. Commended for her essay and fiction writing abilities from her lecturers at University, Damilola aims to study a PHD in English Literature.

Damilola is a global youth leader in the Loveworld Ministry Incorporated. Damilola believes this is her first duty amongst others. Damilola works on projects that are designed to help disaffected youths and their families with social problems who live in communities that are affected by crime, unemployment and anti-social behaviour. Damilola mentors young people by helping to organise youth training programmes across the UK and the rest of the world. A TEEVO Ambassador where she sponsors copies of the number one daily devotional; Rhapsody of Realities to the nations of the world changing the lives of young people. A partner of the Innercity Mission for Children and the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation, Damilola helps to raise funds and distribute food and clothing items to families in places where it is less provided. The BLW Easter Youth Camp which is held every year to bring youths across the nations to be trained and built up as they go back to their countries to do greater exploits.
