Hi my name is Steve Cross, I was born in Aylesbury in 1974, I then moved to Teignmouth in Devon with my father and sister who is 4 years older than me, l lived in Teignmouth till I was 19 years old, I was brought up in a Retail clothing business, where we had Five outlets in the south west of England, selling brands like Levi's, lee, Pepe and wrangler, Ben Sherman, Campari, and all the surf and skate brands, Hot tuna, Stussy, Vision street wear, O'Neill, Ripcurl, Billabong, Oxbow and Quicksilver. Plus, Urban wear early 90's Sodapop, orange Juice, Joe Bloggs and American football and baseball brands.
This sadly all came to an end as my Parents separated when I was 19 and was left to look after myself as my father’s business folded.
I picked myself up, I have always been creative as I used to fit out the stores and do the window displays.
Moved to Torquay which I had a flat for over four years, at the same time I was working, installing kitchens, making wardrobes, and doing DIY around the southwest area of London, Henley on Thames, and Cobham, where I once went on a date with Kate Winslet.
I moved back down to Devon Permanently as I had just met the mother of my two children, Joshua 18 & Jazmin 14.
At the same time as running my Kitchen business 1999 - Present, nearly 30 years, I converted both of my properties that I lived in.
In 2017 I left my Partner and my Children which was hard, as it was like starting up again, I have them every other weekend and I still have a great relationship with there mother as it was eight years ago, I then moved to Newton Abbot.
I met up with my Ex partner six months later, we had two new builds together over 4.5 years and with the stress of it all and have both high end jobs we grew apart sadly, but at the same time got sticked up, So I had been through it all with both relationships, but have come out the other side and finding my smile once again, I'm not doing up properties and have reached my limit with my business as now fitting kitchens in Dartmouth in Devon and the surrounding area. I subcontract for a Scandinavian kitchen Company that have a showroom in Marylebone, I Install and cover the Southwest and have install Kitchens up to £75.000 - £100.000, all bespoke. So, as I'm getting older with more experience, I'm getting the bigger contracts so planning on working a couple of weeks per month, so making time for what I would like to do. With meeting with Clients and project managers, and I am forever solving matters, I'm confident in what I do, so am all for being mutual in any situation, I'm not rude and I will not answer back and will take orders and directions in a Professional manner.
As being Separated for five months and have now put myself on a couple of dating sites, I was totally shocked at the attention I was getting, Someone said you should apply for being a model, so one evening a couple of months back I put my profile picture on Hashtag models and got a response straight away. I did not believe it at first and looked into it being a scam, I deleted the emails and voice messages with a return text message saying that this is not real, I then got a call saying that it was not at all and they loved my picture, so I arranged to have my assessment with Thomas Street Models, and had the most amazing response in which I was shocked of the outcome, in Which Sasha asked if I had done anything like this before, which or course was never.
So here I am at the age of 48 ready and waiting for my new future, which I am prepared to give it my best shot, I am used to doing long hours so you will not hear me complaining, As for my own satisfaction, I know its not all about me, it's about selling a product for a Company or a Brand, So I'm honest and will say that I will give it my all as I too want to make my way up the ladder.
